The WEC announced on it's Twitter page that WEC Featherweight Urijah Faber has re-signed with the organization. Urijah became a free agent after his last fight with Mike Brown. While Faber has fought for many fight orgs, his fame has never been higher since winning the WEC title, ultimately losing it to Mike Brown. Faber is one of the major faces of WEC so the signing was important for both marketing purposes for the WEC and Faber's legacy. While it's not clear how much of an increase in pay Faber will receive, it should be assumed that a nice sized raise was part of the equation. With the WEC adding PPV's next year, it will be interesting to see if Faber included a clause to get a percentage of the PPV buys much like some UFC fighters do.
