  21. Sad to hear a person like Pat Barry had to face reality when he got little money to live on. See how cruel people and society can be when you have little or no money at all. Now that he got the money, i guess, greedy and selfish people that wanted him out, now wants to take him back. Hope that bonus cheque of Pat Barry, dont disappear after a couple of weeks. Remember, dont cry but fight on. Remember your past to succeed your future. Hung Melbourne Australia

  23. Once again my faith in God has been reafirmed!!! Pat, I have been exactly where you were and it seemed sometimes like a the world's floor had opened up and swallowed me. however I NEVER EVER stop trusting that God would do exactly for me what he's done for you. Faith, and trusting that no matter what the how dark it gets hold on. I wish you nothing but God's best in your life and continued success. If you weren't a believer before, I hope this has made you one. You have a story to tell keep telling it. God Bless

  24. May God keep blessing him and others in his situation, Faith is what all of us need right now. Pat is wise when he says that he got himself into what he was going trhoug and suffer what had to suffer in order to be able to rebound. Hopefully he'll never put himself in that sad situation again.

  27. Pat, I'd never heard of you until I went to check my email and saw the article. I'm happy to hear of your "victory" over your financial circumstances. Surely you understand that the God of all flesh, heard your cry and answered your call. Give Him all the glory and He will take you higher and higher! Do not take His glory by thinking you had something to do with your boxing win. The Lord allowed it in order to draw you closer to Him. Your "victory in the ring" was the catalyst to greater victories as you use your testimony to inspire others. I reiterate, do not take God'glory even when people pat you on the back. Be thankful and humble and the Lord will take you higher than you ever dreamed.

Congratulations on your win. Take nothing for granted - but in prayer, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known unto God who giveth abundantly more than we can imagine He tells us that if we are faithful to Him, he will give us the desires of our heart. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path - for the steps of a good man are order of the Lord. God bless. Peggy in Texas

  34. It took the banker an hour? What was he doing? I cracked up laughing Pat! That was a great line! And the shirt didn't get it. Oh well. Did he (the banker) get it after the hour he took to give you an answer? Congratulations Pat! Just a huge heart and a great person. Your uncles advise above is solid. Take care sir! You just keep living your life with the values you have now. You will continue to be rewarded. Give that uncle a call also.
